If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.
“…we used to experience disruptions followed by periods of stability, change now is increasingly perpetual, pervasive, and exponential. “ – Harvard Business Review
A laser is simply a focused beam of light. It can cut metal or perform the most delicate medical procedures because it is focused. If you want to make meaningful change in 2024, you will need a focused effort.
The best way for you to create that change is with a strategic plan.
A strategic plan is a focused effort to define where you want to go, identify the challenges and opportunities to get there, and then lay out the next action steps.
As a leader, you can create this plan independently, but then it is “your” plan. You are stuck trying to “sell” it to your team.
What if I told you there is a better way?
Invite your people to the conversation.
Bringing a cross-functional team together gets the best and most relevant issues on the table quickly and efficiently. Tapping into the collective wisdom of the group also allows you to address the key areas where your team is stuck and create solutions that free them up to move forward.
Follow an agenda.
The agenda keeps everyone on target and sets the pace for the day. Try to keep all other shop talk off the table and stay focused on the bigger picture.
Use a facilitator.
Bringing in an unbiased third party to facilitate the conversation helps you go further faster. This is what we do best! We would love to help you and your team build a solid Strategic & Operational Plan for 2024.
Gathering around a table to remember your identity as an organization and charting a clear path with your team is the best way to end the year so you can start 2024 well!
You want more. Your people do too. Schedule a discovery call with DRYVE to talk more about how you can get laser-focused!
